Nothing to Find
I spoke with care, each thought in sight,
My mind awake within the night.
Each word was clear, each step defined,
Yet still I felt something behind.
So on I searched with patient art,
Turning ideas part by part.
Certain truth was there to find,
Just one more step within the mind.
But then it struck—no hidden key,
No deeper thing awaiting me.
And when I saw there was no sign,
The dream let go—and I woke to mine.
